London Dartanian Cosby, 35, of Portsmouth, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at OSU Medical Center in Columbus.
London was born March 16, 1986, in Portsmouth to Roy Lee Cosby, Jr. and Nora (Nelson) Cosby. He attended Portsmouth High School, worked at Buffalo Wild Wings, and was a die-hard Atlanta Falcons fan.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by five daughters; Mariah Cosby, Lateesha, and Kylee Spriggs, and their mother, Leighann Spriggs, all of South Shore, KY., Kelly Jo and Naveah Prince, and their mother, his fiancé, Bobbie Jo Collins, all of Portsmouth, sister, Kayla Cosby, of Reynoldsburg, formerly of Portsmouth, brother, Cameron Cosby, of Portsmouth, nieces, and nephews; Alyciah and Ry’lei Goodwin, and James Gabriel Dartanian Hudson, and Chloe, Dysean, and Neomiah Cosby, and their mother, Naleah Tyler, as well as special aunts and uncles; Maxine Malone and Cheryl Wright, both of Portsmouth, David Nelson of North Carolina, and Shawn Cosby, of Ashland, KY. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Living Faith Temple, 1329 Kinney Street, Portsmouth, OH with Pastor Marcus Bendolph officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Melcher Hammer Funeral Home in Portsmouth.
