Just before 7 pm, PPD and EMS responded to a report of a domestic assault on a pregnant woman on Kentland Avenue.
When officers arrived on the scene, they took Wesley Jordan into custody for assault and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
Gun Threat on Waller Street
Just before 7 am, a man called 9-1-1 to report a young man had shown him a gun and then threatened to shoot him before walking away with a young woman.
Officers headed to Robinson Avenue to speak with a juvenile’s mother and then took information for an aggravated menacing report.
Man Threatens to Burn Down Homeless Shelter
Officers were called to the 8th Street Homeless Shelter after employees said a man got angry and threatened to burn the shelter down.
However, he left the scene in a Ford with a busted out window before officers arrived. Officers documented the incident and added extra patrols in the area.
Stalker Arrested After Flipping Off Kids
Officers responded to a West Portsmouth home after a woman told them a man she had a stalking order against came outside while her kids were playing in the yard.
She said he flipped them off and made other lewd gestures. Police learned there was an open warrant for the man, so they went out to his house and took him into custody for failure to appear.
