Officers took a man into custody after the FBI, assisted by officers from multiple local agencies swarmed a home on State Route 772 in Pike County.
According to Ohio Attorney General David Yost, the raid was a result of an investigation into a man transferring child sex abuse materials online.
Multiple local agencies, including the Pike and Scioto County Sheriff’s Office, Pike and Scioto County Prosecutors, New Boston Police, and Portsmouth Police, were involved in the operation.
One suspect was arrested at the scene, and officials say the investigation is still ongoing.
