PPD responded to an assault call at around 6:30 pm on 7th Street. According to the victim, who spoke to the police through a translator, a female was upset that the man had refused her request for money.
The victim reported that the female struck him on the head in anger over his refusal to comply with her request.
The female left when the police were called and was not present when they arrived.
