A frustrated Vinton Avenue resident contacted PPD at 7 p.m. to report an issue with a guest who wouldn’t leave. She said a co-worker of hers got out of rehab that day, showed up at her house, and refused to leave.
By the time officers got to the home, two sober individuals who worked with the intoxicated man at a local restaurant. They took the man inside the home, and the resident agreed to look after him until he was sober enough to leave on his own.
She said she would call off work at the restaurant to keep an eye on him. However, no good deed goes unpunished, and an hour later, officers were back at the house because the intoxicated man was breaking things.
Officers advised him to behave.
