An angry neighbor called 9-1-1 after loose dogs attacked his goat. When deputies responded to the scene, they discovered a goat with a broken neck that was still alive and bleeding. This was the third time officers had been to the home for a report of dogs attacking goats.
He also showed deputies a video of the dogs chasing his animals. The owner put the goat down to end its suffering.
Officers then went to the dog’s owner’s home. While they were speaking with him, the dogs began to growl at the officers.
Deputies told him they would issue a citation for loose animals, and the man said he was fine with the ticket. He said he had 14 dogs, and his wife kept bringing new ones home. The man said he’d tried to put up a fence to contain them, but they kept getting out.
Officers warned him that there were too many dogs and reminded him that he must keep his animals locked up.
