Man Hospitalized After Kroger Freak Out
At 11:40 pm, a witness reported a man in a purple shirt screaming loudly at something that wasn’t there at Kroger on Gay Street.
The Counseling Center’s Quick Response Team headed to the scene along with officers and said they would take the man to SOMC for treatment.
Man Arrested After Harassing Aldi Shoppers
Just before 2 am, witnesses reported that a man kept approaching women with children in the Aldi lot, and they feared he was up to no good.
When police arrived on the scene, they learned he had open warrants in both Scioto and Adams County. Police took him into custody.
Man Arrested at Party Time Bar
Police responded to multiple reports of assaults at local bars.
Police took a man into custody after a report of a disturbance at the Party Time Bar just before 2 am. Officers took a statement from his victim and booked him into the Scioto County Jail.
At 11 pm, officers responded to a report of an assault at Sidetracks Bar and Grill. Police noted that everyone involved had been drinking, and all were uncooperative with police. One man’s father came to take him home, and officers served a no-trespass order on the other.
