Officers investigated a golf cart injury accident on Big Brea Creek Road just after 5:30 pm. EMS also responded to the scene and requested an air ambulance for the injured passenger who was ejected from the cart and complaining of neck and back pain.
AirEvac declined to respond to the weather, so Portsmouth Ambulance responded to take the victim from the rescue squad and transport them to the hospital.

Deputies also contacted OSP to perform a sobriety test on the driver of the golf cart.
