Officers responded to Sidetracks Bar on 8th Street. They were initially looking for a white pickup truck. While officers attempted to locate that truck, they received additional information that the man also had a smaller green truck.

With that new piece of information, they quickly located the truck and found the 2 girls inside. One officer placed them into his cruiser to keep them warm while they prepared to go inside and locate the suspect.
As police confronted the suspect, Jason Frye fled on foot.
More officers quickly arrived and Frye was placed into custody.
A source familiar with the incident told SCDN that the girls had been left in the vehicle for 6 hours as Frye drank in the bar.
Jason Frye was charged with 2 counts of child endangerment and obstructing justice. He is currently being held in the Scioto County Jail.
