Man Pepper-Sprayed on Preston Road
A Lucasville man who fled from police ended up getting taken down by his own family on Preston Road.
Officers had responded to a dispute at the home the previous night, but the husband fled the scene before police got there.
The wife called back just after 12:30 pm to report the man had returned home and that her son “had him.”

Dispatch heard a fight going on in the background, and the caller said they had pepper-sprayed the man. When officers responded to the scene, they discovered he had open warrants.
Deputies requested an ambulance for the man and followed it to the hospital. When the hospital released him, police charged him with domestic violence, violating a protection order, and contempt of court.
