A man contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office at 1:45 pm to report that a woman had been blackmailing him.
He said he had allowed a prostitute to stay at his home and she refused to leave. He had eventually paid her to get out and even showed officers a video of her signing a receipt.
However, he claimed the woman told him that she would falsely accuse him of rape if he didn’t hand over more money. The man asked officers what his next move should be.
Police advised him to contact an attorney and consider a restraining order against the woman.
