Man Robbed in High Street Home
A High Street man contacted officers at 6:25 am to report a robbery.
He said someone broke into his home, confronted him, and took his money before fleeing the scene. Police and EMS responded to the scene. Officers took information for a report.
A thief hit the Armed Forces Career Center on 7th Street at 9:44 am. Someone attempted to break in by busting out the front window. Officers took information for a report.
Stolen Motorcycle Recovered by Sharp-Eyed Garbage Collector
A sharp-eyed member of a city sanitation crew contacted 911 at 10 am to report spotting a possibly stolen motorcycle in the alley behind 18th Lane.
When police arrived at the scene, they confirmed the bike was indeed stolen and contacted the owner. Police released the bike to its rightful owner and removed it from the stolen vehicle database.
