Law enforcement say a man who was already on probation for one criminal charge, added a list of new ones to his record after he shot a man during a fight on Sunday night.
Cops charged Paul Hensley, 40, of Morehead, Kentucky, with attempted murder, possession of a gun by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

They say he got into an argument with a man in Carter County around 10:35 pm on Sunday. When the man threw a stick at him, Hensley pulled a gun and shot the man multiple times in the shoulder.
EMS took the man to the hospital and searched Hensley’s home, truck, and outbuilding. Police say they found guns, ammunition, and drugs during the search. Officers arrested Hensley and took him to the Carter County Detention Center.
Hensley is currently on probation for receiving stolen property and the Kentucky Corrections Department lists his risk assessment rating as low.
