A fed-up Portsmouth resident let garbage truck workers have it just after 8 am.
The workers called the police to say he came out of his Pleasant Avenue home and threatened to assault them because they weren’t putting his trash cans in the right place.
Workers told offices this had happened on multiple occasions. Officers advised them to speak with their supervisor and said they had the option to stop his service and he could find a private company to handle it.
Police knocked on the man’s door, but he didn’t answer.
