Officers rushed to Kroger on Gay Street after a caller said a bearded man pulled a gun on his aunt at the grocery store.
When they arrived on the scene, they took Matthew Wright into custody and impounded his gun.
Officers sent for EMS to check out the aunt.

Police transported him to the station for questioning and later booked him into the Scioto County Jail on charges of felonious assault.
