Marc L. Kreischer, age 48, passed away at Holzer Medical Center-Jackson on February 15, 2026. Born on August 27, 1977, he was the beloved son of Ronnie M Kreischer and Linda (Lee) Kreischer. A resident of Oak Hill, OH, Marc was a proud graduate of Lexington High School, the University of Rio Grande and Morehead State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s Degree in Ed Administration alongside a Superintendent License.
Marc was not only an incredibly loving husband and father, but an incredible leader in all aspects of life. From being a teacher, to an administrator, a coach of both baseball and basketball, and most recently the Superintendent at Bloom-Vernon Local Schools, no matter the role that Marc was in, he positively impacted those around him.
Marc cherished every moment spent with his family, especially the time they shared on vacations and at home together. He took great pride in coaching his children and rarely missed an opportunity to watch them compete in sports. An avid fan of basketball and a dedicated golfer, he found joy both on the court and on the course. He was a faithful member of South Webster Christ Methodist. Above all, Marc will be remembered as a humble, selfless man whose life was defined by integrity and devotion to those he loved.
Marc is survived by his loving wife of 24 years, Haley, his daughter Marley, and son Pierce. He is survived by his parents, Ronnie and Linda (Lee) Kreischer; Brother Adam (Heather) Kreischer of Norwalk, OH; Brother Micah (Lauren) Kreischer of Gulfport, MS; Father-in-law Norm Persin of South Webster, OH; Mother-in-law Rita Persin of South Webster, OH; Brother-in-law Jimmy (Nicole) Persin of Jackson, OH, along with Nephews Kian, Jude, Miles, Elijah and Nieces Kya and Talyah.
Visitation for family and friends will be from 1:00PM – 3:00PM on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at South Webster High School, 10529 Main St., South Webster OH, Funeral Service beginning at 3:00PM, officiated by Ed Litteral, interment to follow at South Webster Cemetery. Services under direction of D.W. Swick & Son Funeral and Cremation Services- South Webster.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship fund is being established in his memory to continue supporting South Webster students for years to come. Donations can be made to South Webster High School, care of Mr. Kreischer Memorial Fund.
