Margie Ruth Walker, 89 of Portsmouth died Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Minford Retirement Center. She was born August 5, 1932, in Rome, Ohio to the late Clayton and Olivia Moore Kennedy.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband John Wesley Walker, whom she married on September 28, 1947, and a grandson Brandon Howerton.
Margie is survived by 2 sons; Donald (Patricia) Walker and Robert (Arlana) Walker, with 4 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM Noon on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at McKendree Cemetery in Stout with Thomas Williams officiating. Family and friends may gather at the cemetery starting at 11:30 AM. Arrangements are under the direction of the Roger W. Davis Funeral Home in West Portsmouth.
