Kroger employees called the police at 7:30 a.m. to report a woman going car to car in the parking lot asking customers for money. They said she’d been doing it for several days and wanted her barred from the property.
When officers arrived on the scene, they learned the woman used an alias, but her Social Security number matched that of a woman with an open warrant.
Police took Michelle Morr into custody on a charge of failure to appear and booked her into the Scioto County Jail.

The 40-year-old Kentucky resident was arrested in early July on a charge of receiving stolen property. The court appointed a public defender, but she failed to show up for her hearing on July 10.
Later that afternoon, Kroger employees reported that a suspicious U-Haul had been parked in the lot for about four hours.
They said they’d had multiple incidents over the past few weeks of people stealing items from the store and putting them in a U-Haul.
Officers learned the rental company wanted the vehicle for being overdue. Officers searched the truck and discovered a quantity of wire in it, but left it with the truck as no one had reported it stolen yet.
They allowed the driver of the truck and a passenger to get their personal bags before having it towed.
