A Minford man is behind bars after an all-out manhunt in Pike County. Around 3 pm Wednesday, multiple people called 9-1-1 to report people were chasing and shooting at a man on Croley Road in Beaver.
Officers soon learned that Minford resident Matthew Mullins, also known as Nathan Mullins, was the alleged victim. Deputies, OSP Troopers, Waverly Police, Adult Probation, and the Southern Ohio Major Crimes Taskforce all joined in for the hunt for Mullins.
They didn’t have much luck until around noon on Thursday when witnesses said they spotted him running along a fence line on SR 335 headed toward the woods.
OSP troopers used a drone to search for Mullins and officers received tips that Mullins had been shot. Around 5 pm, a witness spotted Mullins in the 3000 block of SR 335 where he was attempting to steal a Kubota.

Officers took him into custody and discovered he had multiple open warrants including failure to appear on felony drug charges, larceny, and petty theft from multiple surrounding counties.
Mullins will also face charges of felony theft and breaking/entering through Pike County.
