A mom went on the attack, frightening her 10-year-old child. When deputies arrived on the scene, a woman called out to them that she hadn’t done anything wrong. However a man and child on the scene told a different story.
The crying child told officers her mom had come into the house and hit her father. The man said the woman was “acting crazy” and started to hit him. He said she also went after the child but wasn’t able to hit her.
Police took the woman into custody and placed her in the patrol call. They also took statements from the father and took photos of injuries on his face, arm, and neck. Deputies also confiscated the woman’s CCW permit.
Dad also told deputies he feared the mom was using meth. Officers noted they found several small empty baggies in the woman’s pocket when they searched her at the time of arrest. Officers booked her into the Lawrence County Jail.
