Officers responded to the 8th Street Homeless Shelter after a woman said she was there with her infant and her boyfriend was threatening her.
When officers investigated, they learned the shelter had already barred the woman’s boyfriend because of a previous incident.

Police advised him that he could not be on the property unless he was visiting the Job and Family Services office on official business.
Both the boyfriend and the woman with the child left the area.
