The very same day a parent stabbed a South Point Elementary School principal, there was another incident at the middle school.
A mom told officers she arrived at the Middle School that afternoon to pick up her daughter after she got into an altercation with another student. She said the principal of the school told her the facility was currently locked down. The woman said she turned to leave.
At that point, she said a woman approached her and asked what her name was. When she identified herself, the other woman approached her with a clenched fist and said their children had been in a fight.
She said the woman acted aggressively and followed her to her car, screaming at her. The woman said she was going to make sure the woman’s child never touched another child again and would “end them both.”
Once she got into her vehicle, she said the other woman stood in the parking lot and yelled at her. The woman said she called school officials, and the angry parent told them they should “get her inside before I cut her throat.”
The other mother left, and officers headed to the scene to escort the other mother home.
