A concerned resident of Cherry Street called 911 at 11:30 am to report some unattended kids. They said naked children were climbing in and out of windows of a house and running around on the streets.
When officers arrived, they found two small children around five years old unattended. They noted the children weren’t clean and the house was a mess with food items left out everywhere. They tried contacting the father at his work, but he finally came out of a bedroom saying he’d been asleep.
Officers called CPS, but the agency said it wouldn’t be responding. Police advised both parents that they’d made the report.
