Nancy Ackerman-Nash, 71 of Granbury, Texas, was spending time with family in Ohio when on Friday, June 27, 2025 her heart gave away and she passed on at SOMC. She was born October 27, 1953 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Raymond L. and Georgia Faustaine “Tena” (Taylor) Ackerman. She was a 1971 Wheelersburg High School graduate, was retired from Desoto High School in DeSoto, Texas where she was the Principal’s Assistant, and attended Walnut Ridge Baptist Church in Arlington, TX.
She is survived by her husband, Gary Michael ”Mike” Nash; three children, Laura L. (Jon) Nash, Erik M. Nash, Aaron T. (Sharon) Nash; three grandchildren, Brayden (Jordyn) Nash, Abigail “Abby” Nash, Tyler Nash; three sisters, Diana (Lee) Lawson, Mary Ackerman-Slusher, Brenda Lambert; one brother-in-law, Tim Burton, and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Ackerman; one sister, Betty Burton, and two brothers-in-law, Jimmy Slusher and Dave Lambert.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Living Father Nazarene Church in Minford with Pastor Wayne Searls officiating. Burial be in Arlington, TX.
