Neighbors Flip Out Over Surveyors
A couple of neighbors went off the rails when surveyors attempted showed to map out property.
Just after 9:30 am, a June Avenue resident reported that her neighbor was on her property arguing with her and the surveyor about the new property line. The neighbor allegedly threatened to shoot the surveyor.
An officer explained to the neighbor that he could be arrested for threatening people and advised the man that he could contest the property line in court if he didn’t like the results of the survey.
Later that afternoon, at 2 pm, a man called the police about an incident at his mother’s Wheelersburg home. He said surveyors were at the property, and the neighbor had flipped out and was filling drains with Quick-Crete.
A deputy spoke with all parties involved and reported that the neighbor was quite argumentative. The deputy warned the neighbor there would be legal consequences if he interfered with the surveyors.
