Nicolas Dean McGowan 38 of Franklin Furnace passed away Thursday, August 6, 2020. He was born August 9, 1981, in Portsmouth a son of the late Andrew and Peggy Adams McGowan.

He was a mechanic who loved working on cars and spending time with his children. He is survived by three sons, Devin McGowan, Levi McGowan, and Caden McGowan all of Wheelersburg; one brother Todd McGowan of Georgia; two sisters, Andrea McGlone of South Webster and Kelly McGowan of Franklin Furnace.
Private services are being handled by D.W. Swick-Nelson Funeral Home in South Webster.
