Officers are investigating a disturbing report of child sex abuse after a distraught mother contacted them. She told officers that she and her children lived with relatives and that a member of the family had spotted some disturbing behavior involving her children and another relative’s boyfriend.
The witness said the boyfriend had undressed the little girls and given them showers. The woman left the home with her children and contacted officers. One child denied any inappropriate contact, but the other said it had happened.

Officers contacted CPS and interviewed the adults who had reported the abuse. All of the information was forwarded to Lawrence County Children Services.
