School officials asked officers to do a welfare check at a local home after they heard screaming and crying in the background of a phone call when they contacted a woman about her son.
When officers arrived at the home, a woman told them she saw a man touch his daughter inappropriately through her clothing while wrestling with her. She also handed the officers an iPad she bought from the man and said there were videos and photos they should look at on the tablet.
Officers checked the tablet but saw nothing illegal. They did call a detective about the report, but they didn’t think there was anything to warrant further investigation. However, officers took the woman who had made the complaint into custody on an open warrant.
