Staff at a local school contacted PPD to talk about a student who had made multiple complaints that they believed to be unfounded.
They said in the most recent complaint, the student said she was touched inappropriately but refused to give the staff any details. Officials said they investigated the complaint, and the other child said she fell and tried to grab onto the girl to catch her fall.
Staff said the child’s parents had unenrolled her and were now home-schooling her. Officers suggested the school contact CPS to do a follow-up report and make sure both children were okay.
