Police responded to Harding Avenue after a concerned father called police to report a fellow student had attacked his young son with scissors the day before. He said the child attempted to hit his son in the eye with the scissors.
The father provided photos of the incidents. Officers took information for a report and tried to get in touch with the suspect and his mother.
Another concerned parent called the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office to say her daughter had been threatened at Northwest High School. She said a student had even pushed her daughter down the stairs. The woman said the school was not taking the threats seriously. Officers headed to the school to take information for a report.
Police headed to Northwest Elementary School for a report of a child tearing up the classroom and hitting people. The child had calmed down by the time police arrived and went home with their mother.
