Around 11 am, an Argonne Road caller contacted police to report that a woman he allowed to stay over at his house the evening before was trashing the house.
When officers arrived at the home, the door was open, but nobody was there. The resident explained that he’d run across the street to a neighbor’s home after he called for help.
An officer observed multiple broken items in the house, but the man decided not to press charges. He just didn’t want the woman to return.
Police advised him not to let her in if she returned and to call them.
