Pamela Ratliff, 72, of South Shore, KY., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 18th, 2025. She was born on May 16th, 1952, to Leonard and Rilla Ruark of South Shore KY, who preceded her in death.  She was a member of South Shore First Church of God.

Surviving her is her husband of 53 years Dale Ratliff of South Shore KY. Her son, Mike “Ratchet” (Kassie) Ratliff of Shore KY. Her two granddaughters, Micah (Bryce) Wellman of Irvine KY., and Savannah Ratliff of South Shore KY. She is also survived by her two sisters, Angie (Bob) Burke of Lloyd KY., Francie (Chuck) Brewer of South Shore KY., and two brothers Tony Ruark of South Shore KY., and David (Mary Kay McGinnis) Ruark of Greenup KY. She also had several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews, who she loved so much. Also in her family are her close friends who held a special place in her life, including Debbie Sparks.

Pam spent her younger years hot rodding in cars and riding her son’s Harley. She enjoyed taking vacations and laughing with her sisters. She spent many Sundays at church with her family praising and learning about Jesus.  She was a member of the WCG Women’s Ministry. She loved to take her granddaughters shopping and to attend every ball game or school event they were in. Pam loved Christmas time with her girls, they spent every year together decorating the tree and baking cookies. Pam enjoyed taking care of her flowers then joined Dale on the back porch and watched the sunset together during the evenings. Her pride and joy was her son Ratchet. She enjoyed watching him race cars, spending time with him at the camp, and sitting on the swing overlooking the river. To know Pam was to love her, she treated everyone as if they were her own and had so much love in her heart for her family and friends.
