How many times do you have to get arrested while you’re on parole before the state decides to put you back in prison? Well, if you’re convicted drug trafficker Max McGuire, the answer is not nine times.
Since being released on parole in October of 2021, he’s been picked up at least nine times on a variety of charges.
In April, officers booked him into the Scioto County Jail for parole violation and probation violation and he served 68 days. Back in November of last, US Marshalls charged him with parole violation, counterfeit, probation violation, and escape. He spent 71 days in jail before being released in January.
In August of 2022, police took him into custody after PMHA security asked PPD to meet them at 10 a.m. to check an apartment. Officers found Maxwell McGuire inside and took him into custody for criminal trespass and probation violation.
You’ll recall that McGuire was arrested twice in the same week back in May of 2022. The convicted drug trafficker was picked up after an officer responded to a report of multiple people fighting with knives and guns in an empty apartment in Farley Square. Officers took Maxwell McGuire into custody. McGuire is currently on parole after serving time for drug trafficking and felonious assault. McGuire was released from jail almost immediately but arrested just a few days later for criminal trespass in the same apartment.
After his release from jail in October 2021, he was also busted on probation or parole violations three times and also charged four times for criminal trespass.
In 2016, he was sent to prison on drug trafficking and assault charges. Other previous charges include 2015 charges of heroin trafficking and parole violation, 2014 charges of probation violation, and 2009 charges of aggravated burglary and robbery.
Early Sunday morning, he scored yet another arrest, when officers detained him at the Woodbine apartments. They booked him into the Scioto County Jail on a charge of parole violation.
