It is with deep sorrow and a profound sense of loss that we announce the passing of Patricia Ann Holland, aged 93, on June 24, 2025. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, friend, and a cherished member of the community.
Patricia was born on June 26, 1931 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to the late Carl Crockett and Lena Coda Crockett. Pat lived a life full of love, compassion, and strength. She was the loving mother of Mark (Elaine) of St. Louis, Missouri, Rick (Lynn) of Waverly, and Joe (Teresa) of Athens. Pat is also survived by grandchildren Scott, Daniel, Benjamin, Patrick, Jordan(Meg), Carly, Caitlin(Sean), and Erica, and great grandchildren Zackary, Beau, Cami, Carson, Shea, and, Brandon; niece, Nancy (Ron) Randlett and daughter in laws, Lisa Holland of New Orleans, Louisiana and Sheree Holland of Mandeville, Louisiana . She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Holland, and three children Debbie, Bruce and Tom and her sister, Lillian Enger. Her unwavering love and devotion to her family were the cornerstone of her life, and her legacy lives on through her children and their families.
A lifelong member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, Ohio, Pat found strength and guidance in her faith. Her presence was always a source of comfort to those who knew her, and her commitment to her faith was reflected in the kindness and generosity she extended to others.
Pat was an avid gardener, and her garden was a true reflection of her nurturing spirit. She found joy in tending to the earth and found great fulfillment in the cherished friendships she made with fellow members of the Waverly Garden Club. Her home was always filled with the beauty of blooming flowers, and her garden was a sanctuary where she could connect with nature and find peace. Pat enjoyed cats, you could often find her caring for the strays in her neighborhood and often providing them a home.
One of the highlights of her social life was her monthly bridge club outings, where she spent time with a group of lifelong friends. These friendships were a source of laughter, support, and companionship, and Pat cherished each moment spent with the “girls,” particularly her lifelong friend Betty Bloss.
While her passing leaves an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her family and friends, we take comfort in the memories of the love, laughter, and wisdom she imparted on all who knew her. She lived her life with grace, humility, and a steadfast love for her family and friends, and her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
