Paul Eugene McGraw, Jr. 74 of Minford passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 19, 2023. He was born July 25, 1949 in Dayton, the son of the late Paul Eugene McGraw, Sr and Erma Jean Cutlip McGraw.
He spent his early school years at Minford later moving back to Dayton and graduating from Fairmont East High School in 1967. Paul was a star football and baseball athlete and attended Morehead State University for 1 year.
After his retirement as a foreman from General Motors Corp he returned to the Minford area. He loved history and was an amateur archaeologist. He was a member of the Minford Sons of the American Legion.
He is survived by one daughter, Kimberly (Terry) Houk; one son, Jonathan (Angie) Gray; three grandsons, Joseph Floyd, Dalton Gray, Vincent Houk,; granddaughter, Kelsey Houk, and great grandson, Jaxson.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00pm Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00am on Monday, September 25, 2023 at Lucasville Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com
