Pauline Brown Farley, 93, of South Shore, Kentucky, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, Ohio. She was born on October 18, 1932, in Greenup, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Willie and Edith Marie Roberson Brown.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Farley, along with her parents, and eleven brothers: Jim, Manuel, Herschel, Phil, Bob, Donald, David, Tommy, Bill, Charles, and Carl; as well as four sisters: Jean, Liz, Opal, and Stella.
Pauline worked for over 40 years at the Kresge’s/KMART stores. She was an active volunteer with Meals on Wheels, South Shore Homemakers, and Helping Hands. Additionally, she was a faithful member of the South Shore First Christian Church in South Shore, Kentucky.
Left to cherish her memory are two sons: Charles (Kathy) Farley of South Shore, Kentucky, and Dewayne (Carla) Farley of Portsmouth, Ohio; two daughters: Rosemary McFarland of Mt. Eden, Kentucky, and Darlene Herter of South Shore, Kentucky; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by several other family members and friends who will greatly miss her.
Pauline will be buried at the North East Kentucky Veterans Cemetery with her husband during a private family service. Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, Kentucky, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
