There was a report of a pedestrian being struck on Seneak Ave in Franklin Furnace just before 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
Green EMS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded but could not locate a victim.
About 10 minutes later a man called to say that he hit a pedestrian further up the road at the Greenup Dam exit.

Once officers located the vehicle, the driver helped officers locate the person who was described as being off in the weeds.
While EMS was responding to that location, officers announced CPR had been initiated.
Green EMS and Fire, Ohio State Patrol, and Scioto County Sheriff’s Department responded within minutes of the initial call.
In a strange twist, OSP reported that the man had actually been struck twice. After being struck on Seneak, he reportedly took off running when he was struck again on the bridge entrance ramp. Initial reports indicate he was struck by 2 different vehicles.
Green EMS continued life-saving measures as they transported the man to SOMC.
More details will be made available by OSP as they have taken over this active and ongoing investigation.
