Face Masks Required For Employees
Employees will be required to wear face coverings unless there’s some circumstance that makes it unsafe. Businesses must allow all customers, patrons, visitors, contractors, vendors, and similar individuals to use facial coverings if they choose. The rules don’t require customers to wear masks. Individual businesses may insist on it, though. It is suggested that businesses require customers to wear face masks and offer to provide them.
Sanitize and Check For Symptoms
- Businesses must keep an eye on symptoms and step up their sanitizing game.
- Daily symptom assessment of employees required
- Employees must stay home if they have symptoms
- Regular hand-washing required
- Hand sanitizer must be placed in high-contact locations
- High-touch items like carts must be cleaned after each use.
It is also suggested that businesses close once a week for a deep cleaning. It’s also suggested that businesses keep groups of employees on the same shift.
