Portsmouth Man Makes Threats to White House
The Ohio State Police asked PPD officers to check on the location and mental status of a Portsmouth man just after 1 am.
Troopers told PPD officers they’d received a call from the New York State Police about this man contacting the White House and making threats toward the President and First Lady. However, when officers headed to a Charles Street home to speak with him, no one answered the door.
Ohio State Police also contacted the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office around 3 am, and asked them check a home on St. Rt. 73 for a man who made multiple threats against the President, Vice President, Columbus Airport, Coast Guard, Department of Defense, Columbus Police Anti-Terrorism Unit and other government agencies. Police were unable to locate him.
