Randall Eugene Herdman, 66, of New Boston, passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025 at SOMC Hospice. He was born June 25, 1959 in Chase, Meigs County, Ohio, a son of the late David and Della Mae (Hizenman) Herdman. He was a maintenance supervisor at Wal-Mart, attended Gospel Church of God, and was a U.S. Marine veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Jean (Bryant) Herdman; two sons, Curtis Herdman, Randy Dale (Sherri) Herdman; one daughter, Sarah Jean Williams (Rocky Skaggs); eight grandchildren, Jacob, Sierra, Makalya, Abby, Brooklyn, Brennan, Kendal; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Bobby Herdman, and one sister, Mary Bishop. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, David Herdman, Jr., and two sisters, Linda Sollberger, and Rhonda Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2026 at Harrison-Pyles Funeral Home in Wheelersburg. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.harrison-pyles.com.
