Roger D. Armstrong, 87, went peacefully to be with his Savior on Friday, March 28, 2025. Born on December 12, 1937, in Quincy, KY, he was a son of the late Charles Gordan and Frances Combs Armstrong.
Roger proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, was a member of Wheelersburg Methodist Church, and co-owner of the former R & M Tile Center in Wheelersburg.
Also preceding him in death were his wife, Margie Jordan Armstrong; a brother, Fred Armstrong and a sister, Sandra Bivens.
Surviving are his son, Rodney (Teresa) Armstrong of Wheelersburg; a daughter, Kimberly (Rick) Jordan of Waverly; a brother, Denver L. Armstrong of Argillite, KY; two granddaughters, Megan (Matt) Henry and Ashley (Greg) Igo; four great-grandchildren, Carson Henry, Rylee Igo, Paisley Igo and Mason Igo and many nieces and nephews.
A Service of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd, at the BRANT FUNERAL HOME IN SCIOTOVILLE with Pastor Perry Prosch officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Burial Park with military honors by the James Dickey Post of the American Legion.
The family will receive guests at Brant’s from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to SOMC Hospice.
The American flags, along with the U.S. Navy flag, will fly on the avenue in honor of our proud veteran, Roger Armstrong.
