Ronald Lee Barnett, 79 of Stout passed away Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at his residence. He was born April 12, 1943, in Cleveland, a son of the late Horace and Wilma Burchett Barnett, he owned & operated Barnett’s Auto Trim in Portsmouth and attended Turkey Creek Free Will Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Iva Nunley Barnett; two sons, Scott (Debbie) Barnett, JJ (Natalie) Jamison; one daughter, Kelly (Jeromy) Riggs; nine grandchildren, Zach Barnett, Kayla Riggs, Brandon Riggs, Haley Corns, Ryan Jamison, and two great-grandchildren, Atticus and Graham. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carolyn McGlaughlin.
A memorial service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Erwin-Dodson-Allen Funeral Home in Minford with Dave Sibole officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Online condolences may be sent to www.edafh.com.
