Roselle “Rosie” Russ, 54, of South Webster, passed away Saturday December 31, 2022 at Southern Ohio Medical Centers Emergency Room. She was born April 28, 1968 in Portsmouth, a daughter of Jewell (Rawlins) Reed of South Webster and the late Stanley Reed.
She enjoyed hunting for wild mushrooms, going fishing and playing bingo. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and taking care of all of them.
Rosie is also survived by her husband, Donald “Tom” Russ whom she married in August of 1988; two daughters, Rosanna Russ-Wescott (Bob Wilburn) of South Webster and Rebecca Russ of Portsmouth; a brother, Phillip Hall of South Webster; a sister, Pat Clemons and husband Anthony of South Webster; two grandchildren, Christian Russ, Trenton Stanley Don Wescott and a very dear friend, Pam Collier of West Portsmouth.
She was also preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Russ.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday January 4, 2022 at D.W. SWICK FUNERAL HOME in South Webster with Pastor Mark McCallister officiating. Interment will follow at Scioto Furnace Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday January 3, 2022 from 4 to 6 PM and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
