Sandra Kay Hamilton-Enz (Goodman), 84 of Portsmouth, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at SOMC Hospice. She was born on July 10, 1940, in Wamsley to the late Alva Hamilton and Ethel Hill Hamilton. Surviving are her children; Brian (Jackie) Enz of Sciotoville, Micah (Mary) Enz of Spring Hill, Tennessee, Valerie Enz of Otway, Eric (Julia) Enz of Otway, and Christopher (Alyssa) Enz of McDermott; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sandra was preceded in death by her grandson; Trevor Anderson Enz, and her sisters, Shirley Goodman and Victoria Hamilton.
Sandra retired from the United States Postal Service and was known for her passion for bowling. She often recalled picking up a bowling ball in the late 1960s and falling in love with the game. She continued to bowl faithfully until she was diagnosed with dementia at the age of 77. Sandra was a woman of deep faith and was a member of Christ Community Church. Her family finds peace knowing she is now at rest and has been reunited with loved ones who have gone before. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Botkin Hornback Funeral Home in Otway with Minister Steve Falls officiating. Burial will follow in UP Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
