Scioto County, Ohio Deadly Car Wreck.
Just before 10 pm on Friday evening along U. S. Route 52, near the Lawerence County line, a three-car wreck resulted in one death and one being flown to Cabell-Huntington hospital. It is unknown how many people were involved in the wreck.

Volunteers from Green and Porter Townships responded along with Ohio State Patrol and Portsmouth Ambulance.
According to the initial reports released by the Highway Patrol, a 1997 Honda operated by Jon R. Miller (age 50 of Ironton) was traveling the wrong way on route 52. The first vehicle he encountered was a 2018 Toyota Camry operated by Brice Grahm (age 19 of Jackson). In addition to Grahm, there were four other teenage passengers in the car.
The report states that Miller was driving into oncoming traffic. Grahm swerved to avoid a collision. Miller’s car sideswiped the Grahm vehicle and struck a third vehicle operated by Stacey Fairchild (age 49 of Franklin Furnace). That strike was a head-on collision.
Miller was pronounced dead at the scene.
The statement indicates that Fairchild sustained life-threatening injuries and was flown to Cabell-Huntington hospital. Her current condition is unknown.
The young men in the Toyota did not report any injuries.
The wreck remains under investigation with the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
According to the OSP, there have been three fatal wrecks in Scioto County this year.

- 2018 Twelve Killed
- 2017 Eight Killed
They also show that the days of the week that rank highest for crash reports are Mondays (1.542 YTD) and Fridays (1,675 YTD)
The times of day with the most reported crashes are between 2 pm and 6 pm.
