Due to an illegal policy change earlier this year, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) no longer releases detailed incident logs to the press. However, using the information that remains publicly available, we’re breaking down the calls handled on May 1, 2025, by type and location to keep you informed.

A total of 13 emergency squad (Signal 29) calls were reported. These incidents typically involve medical distress requiring EMS response or transport to a hospital.
