Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies were called back to the same Lucasville residence for the second time in a single day after a man insisted someone had threatened him — though he refused to explain what the threats were, wouldn’t answer questions, and simply demanded an officer be sent immediately.
Deputies noted the man had already started an altercation earlier that day, prompting the first call.
When officers arrived again, they found the man extremely agitated, yelling, and insisting he speak directly to the Sheriff.
On the 911 recording, deputies said the caller himself could be heard shouting and making threats.

After searching the area and assessing the situation, deputies took Joshua Clifford into custody for disorderly conduct.
What began as a vague complaint about a threat quickly became clear: the only person escalating things was the caller himself.
