Officers investigated multiple reports of women accosted by stalkers.
A frightened woman contacted Portsmouth Police at 3 pm to report that someone was stalking her. She said that during the most recent incident, she was walking from her Mound Street home to get pizza, and the stalker followed her and kept circling the area.
Officers advised her to seek a protection order against the individual.
At 10 pm, police received another report of a woman being followed. This time, a woman said a man tried to trap her in a laundromat and grabbed her breasts. The man then followed her home. Police took information for a report.
A Minford resident contacted 9-1-1 to say that an ex-boyfriend kept messaging and calling her, threatening to show up at her house. She said she’d blocked him multiple times, but he kept making new accounts. She provided officers with screenshots and said she planned to get a restraining order.
