He hit the hardware store. Then the farm store. But instead of scoring big, this suspected scammer ended up in handcuffs.
Police say Terry Bradley was caught making moves at Lowe’s in Wheelersburg and Rural King in New Boston, racking up more than just loyalty points — he’s now facing a laundry list of charges, including four counts of theft and telecommunications fraud.
But wait, there’s more…
🔹 Already facing charges for:
- Telecommunications fraud
- Credit card theft
- Attempted theft by deception
🔹 Next stop: Portsmouth Municipal Court on August 7 for a preliminary hearing.
💡 Crime Tip:
Retail fraud can escalate fast. Most stores are wired with high-res security cameras and partner with law enforcement for real-time alerts. Swipe a drill today, face a judge tomorrow. Think before you lift!
Police warn that repeat offenders like Bradley are often tracked across multiple locations — and digital footprints (like card skimmers and fake accounts) make fraud even easier to trace.
