Employees of Dollar General on Gallia called 911 to report shoplifters had made off their roll containers and totes and were using them to move. They said the man and woman had also taken containers from Ace Hardware.
When officers caught up with the couple, they agreed to take their belongings out of the totes belonging to the stores and return them.
Employees agreed not to press charges if the pair returned the store’s property.
